What is clearing?
Clearing is the developed ability to notice what you are feeling and to understand why from a different perspective. This allows the clearer to notice, accept and release whatever feelings arise in their body which, in turn, supports people and the environment to relax and allowing healing to begin.
As there are many ways to explain clearing, innumerable effects and different kind of clearings, go to the clearing page to find out more. You also can ask a clearer about clearing or attend one of the live and online events. And read on about clearers and how they live and work with clearing on this page.
What is a group clearing?
This is when a clearer facilitates and leads online or live clearing for a group. Depending on the experience of the facilitator – during these, often recurrent, gatherings – clearing is explained and the group practices personal and/or space clearing.
If you want to practice clearing this way (as well), you can ask a clearer, who offers that service, to join a new or an existing group.
What is the difference between a clearing workshop and a clearing retreat?
The difference between a workshop and a retreat is the format and length of time. A clearing workshop is a one, two or three days workshop without an overnight stay.
A retreat consists of four or more consecutive days including overnight stays.
Both workshops and retreats offer an introduction to personal and/or space clearing and you practice clearing in many different ways in groups and one on one. All (upcoming) clearing events are on this page.

You can also dedicate a personal grateful clearing to somebody else. Fill in this form if you are interested in donating. Send an email if you have any questions about supporting One World One Heart.
Who is Eric Dowsett?
He was introduced to space clearing in Australia in 1990. Coming from a background following the teachings of the Buddha, gave him a foundation upon which his own understanding of clearing developed.
The early days of this journey into clearing, involved ‘doing’ something to or for the environment, generally through the application of various devices. It appeared that the environment and those living in it experienced a beneficial change as a result of this. Quite soon after starting to offer consultations for space clearing, it became obvious that it was not about what he ‘did’ to the environment, rather what he was becoming that affected the changes.
This opened up a new way of working which was more about being than it was about doing. “As we change, so the environment changes. The more we change the more the environment changes, this process is effortless and is a natural state of being who we are.”
Clearing then appears to be a journey. “The more we practice, the more we change. Moving away from old conditioned ways of being into new, more responsive states of being. The benefits of travelling this path are beyond our imagination and can only be realised by following the path and practicing on a daily basis.”
What is OWOH?

Does One World One Heart only exist in English?
For now, yes. With future website development, One World One Heart will be translated into different languages. If this website is not displayed in English, a setting of your browser translated the content into your local language.

What does the
logo represent?
Artist, clearer and graphic designer Steffi Schott designed the logo for
One World One Heart.
The middle section of the logo is a graphic representation of
the world (circle), the clearers (dots) and the clearing community (lines).
If you look at it long enough, you might see other things. If you lose yourself in it or in explanations about it, ask for a clearing ; – )
What is UTC?
UTC is “the primary time standard by which the world regulates clocks and time”. The abbreviation is the compromise to have one international abbreviation. In English it is called the Coordinated Universal Time. All clearing events on OWOH are mentioned in UTC. Check your local time with an UTC time zone converter, for example with your mobile phone’s (world)clock application or widget, or, by visiting one of the many existing UTC time zone converter websites.
